Jerry SeinfeldandJim Gaffigan, two of the comedy world’s biggest names, have announced plans to embark on a four-arena tour this fall, commencing with a date in San Francisco.
The two will kick off their mini trek on Nov. 3 at Chase Center, followed by shows in Inglewood (Los Angeles County) on Nov. 4, Chicago on Nov. 10, and St. Louis on Nov. 11.
The comedians first met while filming the web series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” and “have been talking about doing this for years,” Seinfeld said in a statement. “We finally made the schedules work out. Can’t wait.”
Gaffigan added, “I’m so excited to help out this unknown up-and-coming comedian who many may have never heard of. I know it will be an amazing bunch of shows.”
Tickets for this tour will be available starting at 10 a.m. Friday, June 16, viawww.ticketmaster.com.
宋飞,best known for his eponymous sitcom, headlined the inaugural Colossal Clusterfest comedy and music festival at San Francisco’s Civic Center in 2017. The following year, he returned to the Bay Area with two performances at Santa Rosa’s Luther Burbank Center for the Arts.
His most recent ventures on Netflix include “Jerry Before Seinfeld” and “23 Hours to Kill.” Seinfeld also stars in the forthcoming comedy film “Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story,” which he directed, co-wrote and produced for the streaming service.
Gaffigan, a seven-time Grammy nominee who recently became the first comic to achieve 1 billion streams on the music platform Pandora, co-stars in “Unfrosted,” with a cast that includes Melissa McCarthy, James Marsden and Hugh Grant.
Gaffigan also played the lead role in the sci-fi drama “Linoleum” and is Mr. Smee in Disney’s live-action “Peter Pan and Wendy,” starring alongside Jude Law.
