喜剧演员Jerry SeinfeldandJim Gaffiganhave added a second San Francisco date to their limited run of arena shows this fall, due to overwhelming ticket demand.
The duo now plan to begin the four-city tour at Chase Center on Nov. 2, with tickets for the additional performance available starting at 10 a.m. Friday, June 23, viawww.ticketmaster.com. A presale is open now with the password ALIVE.
Tickets for their previously announced Nov. 3 date at the venue sold out in one day, according to a spokesperson for the Golden State Warriors.
The comedians-turned-actors, who first met while filming the web series “喜剧演员in Cars Getting Coffee,” are set to costar in the forthcoming Netflix film “Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story,” which Seinfeld directed and produced for the streaming service. It marks his first major film project since 2007’s animated feature, “Bee Movie.”
In a statement, Seinfeld said they “have been talking about doing this for years. We finally made the schedules work out.”
Gaffigan added, “I’m so excited to help out this unknown up-and-upcoming comedian who many may have never heard of. I know it will be an amazing bunch of shows.”
The stand-up tour also includes dates in Inglewood (Los Angeles County) on Nov. 4, Chicago on Nov. 10 and St. Louis on Nov. 11.
Both comedians have a slew of solo headlining shows planned ahead of the November tour, withSeinfeldperforming through the summer and fall andGaffiganexpected to kick off a tour in August featuring all new material, according to his website.
