At 85 years old,Willie Nelsoncan’t slow down. The country music icon and his veteran band are in the middle of another one of their endless tours, playing multi-night headliners in various cities, including a pair of dates at the Fox Theater in Oakland on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 13-14.

Performing a career-spanning set that includes originals, covers and maybe a couple cuts from his recent Frank Sinatra tribute album, “My Way,” Nelson and his famous guitar, Trigger, cut a mean figure on the stage as he brings the gentle soul and honky-tonk accents of his recordings to life.

Despite some recent healthscares, Nelson maintains a schedule that keeps him on the road for 100 days a year, and that probably won’t change anytime soon. As he sang on “Still Not Dead,” a track from his 2017 album, “God’s Problem Child,” he’s still kicking: “The news said I was gone to my dismay/ Don’t bury me, I’ve got a show to play.”

Willie Nelson & Family: 8 p.m. Thursday-Friday, Dec. 13-14. $75-$125. Fox Oakland, 1805 Telegraph Ave., Oakland.thefoxoakland.com
