TheHealdsburg Jazz Festival, one of Sonoma County's premier music and wine events, will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a lineup featuring jazz luminaries and rising stars.
The weeklong event, set for June 17-25, is expected to feature a host of performers, including esteemed vocalist Dianne Reeves, Grammy-winnerSamara Joyand guitaristBill Frisell. Other noteworthy artists include percussionist John Santos, saxophonist Charles McPherson, vibraphonist Joel Ross, clarinetist Michael White, vocalist Stella Heath and tenor saxophonist Howard Wiley, among others.
The festival also plans to pay tribute to jazz masters Pharoah Sanders and Joey DeFrancesco, who both died last year, and the festival's founder, Jessica Felix, who retired in 2020.
圣弗兰sco bassist Marcus Shelby, the festival’s artistic director, said this year’s programming is inspired by the theme of “Healdsburg Jazz: Past, Present, and Future.”
“I am proud to say that we have accomplished our vision of creating a nine-day summer festival that is musically, artistically, and culturally diverse,” he said in a statement.
To that end, there are several free community events scheduled, including a Juneteenth Celebration with the Charles McPherson Quintet and Fathers Day Celebration featuring Joy, who won Best New Artist and Best Jazz Vocal Album at this year’s Grammy Awards for her second studio album “Linger Awhile.”
In addition to musical performances, the festival will feature Michelin-starred chefs, independent filmmakers, spoken word artists and visual artists for events hosted in various downtown Healdsburg venues, boutique hotels and Sonoma County wineries.

Tickets became available starting Thursday, March 30, for festival angel and advocate members, followed by a member presale on April 4. Tickets for the general public go on sale April 9.
