The end of April is almost here, bringing with it longer days, plenty of sunshine and a very California holiday celebrating the humble plant that boasts as many nicknames as it does misconceptions.
The big, annual party celebrating 4/20 at Golden Gate Park’s Hippie Hill is back after two years of forced cancellations. Potential attendees should expect a big crowd descending into the park for the free event, so plan to arrive early for a good spot. This year’s event is set to include a tribute to comedians Robin Williams and Bob Saget. The onstage part of the event will be hosted by comedian Chris Riggins and feature stand-up sets from Jeffrey Ross and Hannibal Buress, as well as DJ sets and live performances by Berner, Mike Tyson and others. There will be food trucks, cannabis vendors, a VIP area and more.
