For voice-over veteran Pegg, having the temporary recording booth Skydance installed at his home in England was a nice perk.

“The fantasy element of ‘Luck’ seemed like it would be incredible when you saw it animated,” Pegg said. “But I also liked that it was about a child who had never really found a family of her own, and that gave it a quite serious emotional core. The best animations are always flights of fancy and real-world stakes.”
Acknowledging her life has been privileged since birth — child of a famous movie star, her own extraordinary careers in show business and as a fitness guru, amazing roster of husbands — Fonda has had her share of bad trouble, too. Many still haven’t forgiven her for visiting North Vietnam during the height of America’s war with that country. She more recently has been arrested multiple times for protesting climate change.
“Katharine Hepburn said to me when we were making ‘On Golden Pond’: ‘It’s your failures that teach you, Jane,’ ” Fonda said while hilariously mimicking the elderly Hepburn’s shaky voice. “ ‘That’s how you learn.’ I read somewhere that God doesn’t come to us through our successes, God comes to us through our wounds. I believe that’s true, that’s my experience.”
Without mentioning his name, she applies that philosophy to Lasseter.
“I believe that people change, and evolve and grow and learn from their mistakes,” Fonda said. “I’m a believer in forgiveness. If you feel that someone has done the work and learned the lessons, then I believe in forgiveness.”
