Duran Duranplans to head out on a North American headlining tour this summer, with a stop scheduled at Chase Center in San Francisco on Sept. 4.
Still operating with the four core members — singerSimon Le Bon, keyboardistNick Rhodes, bassistJohn Taylorand drummer Roger Taylor — the 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees are set to launch the 14-date tour in support of their 15th studio album, “Future Past,” in Minnesota on Aug. 19. They will also play iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York City and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles along the way.

Nile Rodgers & Chic will support on most dates. Rodgers was an early influencewho produced the band’s 1986 album “Notorious.”
Duran Duran performed on the main stage at 2015’s Outside Lands Festival in Golden Gate Park with era-defining tracks, including “A View to a Kill,” “Ordinary World” and “Notorious,” reaching all the way back to its 1982 breakthrough album, “Rio,” which recently marked its 40th anniversary.
For its latest album, “Future Past,” the group worked with a long list of collaborators including producers Giorgio Moroder and Mark Ronson; Swedish singer Tove Lo; Japan’s Chai; U.K. drill artist Ivorian Doll; David Bowie pianist Mike Garon; and Blur guitarist Graham Coxon.
