Kendrick Lamar has lined up a series of Northern California dates as part of his upcoming world tour in support of his long-awaited new album, “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers,” which dropped Friday, May 13.
The extensive tour includes stops at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento on Aug. 30 and two nights at Oakland Arena on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. His cousin and frequent collaborator Baby Keem and Tanna Leone, who appears on the title track of Lamar’s latest release, are also on the bill.
The U.S. leg of the tour is scheduled to kick off July 19 at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City and wrap up with a pair of shows at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Sept. 14-15. The Compton rapper plans to embark on a run of European dates in the fall, before hitting Australia and New Zealand in December.

Lamar has been hard at work on “Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers” since his Pulitzer Prize-winning album “Damn” in 2017, taking time out to curate the“Black Panther”soundtrack and record one-off collaborations with Grammy-winning singer-drummer Anderson .Paak and singer SiR.
Lamar said his fifth studio album will be his last for longtime label, Top Dawg Entertainment.
