Luke Combsplans to perform 25 U.S. stadium shows next year, including two dates at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
The country music star’s upcoming “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old” tourfeatures two-night stops at select cities including at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey; SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles; EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla.; NRG Stadium in Houston; and State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.
He is scheduled to perform at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on May 17-18, featuring different set lists and support acts for each night.
“当我发现我们能do two shows for most all of the cities on the 2024 tour, I decided I wanted each show to have their own unique set up of openers, as well as my own unique setlist,” Combs said in a statement. “I thought this would give people an opportunity to come to both nights if they want, but see two completely different shows.”
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25, via Ticketmaster. Fans will be able to purchase single-day tickets and two-day passes.
A presale for members of Combs’ official fan club, the Bootleggers, begins at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 23. Citi card members will be able to purchase tickets starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24.
T-Mobile customers will also have exclusive access to preferred tickets throughout the tour — including sold-out dates.
“With country music being such a wide genre and being a huge fan of it all myself, I wanted to open up my stage to acts that lean into Outlaw, Americana and Red Dirt on Friday nights, as well as having a night with people I have toured with in the past, who are more contemporary country,” Combs said, referring to tour openers Cody Jinks, Charles Wesley Godwin, Hailey Whitters, the Wilder Blue, Jordan Davis, Drew Parker and Colby Acuff. “I’m super excited to have both groups be out on the road with me for the Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour!”
The tour follows Combs’ success with his faithful remake ofTracy Chapman’s1988 hit, “Fast Car,” from his latest album, “Gettin’ Old,” which reached No. 1 on this week’s Billboard’s country airplay chart and No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
