Olivia Rodrigohas announced the details of her “Guts” world tour, including a stop in the Bay Area.
The three-time Grammy winner plans to kick off her 57-date trek in Palm Springs on Feb. 23, crossing North America and Europe before returning to the West Coast.
She is scheduled to perform at Chase Center in San Francisco on Aug. 2.
Registration for aTicketmaster Verified Fanpresale is open now through Sunday, Sept. 17, via the singer’s official website,www.oliviarodrigo.com. Once registration closes, fans will be randomly selected to receive a code that grants them access to tickets on Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 20-21. American Express card members will have early access to the tickets, priced $49.50-$199.50.
A limited number of Silver Star tickets will be available for $20 to make Rodrigo’s shows “as easy and affordable as possible for her fans,” according to Live Nation. Details will be revealed at a later date.
Rodrigo, best known for her 2021 hit “Drivers License,” released her sophomore album, “Guts,” on Friday, Sept. 8, which includes the single “Vampire.”
“For me, this album is about growing pains and trying to figure out who I am at this point in my life,” the singer-actor said in a statement. “I feel like I grew 10 years between the ages of 18 and 20 — it was such an intense period of awkwardness and change. I think that’s all just a natural part of growth, and hopefully the album reflects that.”
English pop singer PinkPantheress is slated to open the San Francisco show, with alt-rockers the Breeders, pop singers Chappell Roan and Remi Wolf, a Palo Alto native, serving as support acts on other dates.
