Rod Stewart has postponed six of his upcoming North American summer tour dates, including a concert at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, to 2023 “due to production delays,” according to promoter Live Nation.

The rock icon’s Bay Area concert, scheduled for June 17, will now take place on Aug. 8, 2023. Live Nation said fans should hang onto their tickets, which will be valid on the new date, and more details will come via email.

The tour dates scheduled between July 1 through Sept. 3 are not affected by the postponement and will go on as scheduled.

Stewart is currently performing a residency in Las Vegas.

“I truly can’t wait to get back on tour,” Stewart said in a statement. “This is what the good Lord put me on this earth to do and this time away has felt like a big part of who I am is missing. To my incredible fans, I thank you for your patience and promise that the best is yet to come!”
