The Weekndhas announced new dates for hislong-postponedNorth American tour, which will see him making a stop at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara this summer.
The After Hours Til Dawn Tour is set to begin July 8 in his hometown of Toronto at Rogers Centre. That will be followed by 17 stadium dates across America, evokingthe Weeknd’s2021 Super Bowl halftime show.
The Levi’s Stadium concert is scheduled to take place on Aug. 27. Tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. March 10, viathe Weeknd’s site.
The Weeknd’s tour, initially called the After Hours Tour, was originallyscheduled for 2020 but was postponed a yeardue to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It was rescheduled again for early 2022, then once again pushed back because of the winter omicron surge.
Born Abel Tesfaye, the Weeknd will be touring in support of his latest release, “Dawn FM.” Grammy-winning rapper Doja Cat will serve as the support act for the first leg of the tour.
Fans who previously had tickets for theAfter Hoursarena tour will have access to a special presale starting Friday, March 4, and should receive an email prior to that date with more information.
