Bay Area audiences will get their first chance to hear the music of鲍比堰& Wolf Bros in its orchestral guise during an upcoming one-night appearance at Stanford University’s Frost Amphitheater.
The orchestrations are the work of Stanford’s Giancarlo Aquilanti, so the West Coast premiere, set for Oct. 29, and presented by Stanford Live, marks something of a homecoming. The evening will be performed in two 75-minute sets.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25, athttps://live.stanford.edu.

Since last fall, though, the group has made appearances with symphony orchestras, first the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, D.C., and then the Atlanta Symphony.
Paul Phillips, Stanford’s Gretchen B. Kimball director of orchestral studies, is slated to lead the Stanford Symphony Orchestra.
